20 January 2009

Last night we went to the Warwick RSL, I had soup and desert, Paul a bread roll and fish a total of $15.90, so very good value.

Here we are today at the Bald Rock, the largest granite rock in the Southern Hemisphere, 700 metres wide, 500 metres deep and 250 metres high, it is in behind Stanthorpe in the Girraween National Park. We also then went through to Tenterfield, which a nice town over the NSW border.

Tomorrow we pull out of Warwick and plan on going through to Goondiwindi which is about 2 and 1/2 hours away.
Feel quite settled and have the van in order now, even mastering the Tom Tom, all good fun.

You both already look far too relaxed and are having way too much fun! For me it is great to see some of our beautiful countryside from someone elses perspective. We have stayed at Goondiwindi Caravan Park many times over the years on our travels from Cootamundra North. I'm sure you will enjoy. It is a very neat, vibrant little country town. Look forward to your next posting. Leftathome Lynny
