WATAGANS NATIONAL PARK We moved to the western side of Lake Macquarie as we were not able to extend at Swansea, Wangi Point has turned out to be a good move, smaller park and hardly any children. It sure was hot here on Saturday, it got to 42 degrees and the air-con in the van struggled to get below 30. Luckily we had the lake to cool off in and around 5pm a southerly change came through and the temperature dropped to 25.
Today we went to Watagans National Park, good green undergrowth, the views weren't the best as a bit of cloud hovering around. From there we headed into Cessnock a mining town and the entry to the wine region of the Hunter Valley.
HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY FOR THE 26TH JANUARY!
